盛田直子 Naoko Morita
ソニー創業者の盛田昭夫氏の長女として、世界中から多くのゲストを迎える環境の中で育ち、四谷雙葉を卒業後、スイス・ローザンヌをはじめ、欧米各国に留学。様々な社会貢献活動に従事し、2020年より盛田昭夫塾館長として盛田昭夫氏の理念や人間性を次世代へ伝える活動に取り組んでいる。挑戦する精神、国際的視野、人材育成の重要性を広く発信している。
The eldest daughter of Akio Morita, co-founder of Sony, Naoko Morita grew up in an international environment, welcoming distinguished guests from around the world. After graduating from Futaba Gakuen in Yotsuya, Tokyo, she pursued further studies in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as in other countries across Europe and the United States. She has been actively involved in a wide range of social and philanthropic initiatives. Since 2020, she has served as Director of the Akio Morita School, where she works to pass on Akio Morita’s philosophy, values, and character to future generations. Through her activities, she promotes the importance of an entrepreneurial spirit, a global perspective, and the development of future leaders.
大塚孝治 Takaharu Otsuka
日本を代表する理論物理学者。
東京大学大学院理学系研究科博士課程修了。 東京大学大学院理学系研究科教授などを歴任。東京大学名誉教授であり、理化学研究所仁科加速器科学研究センターの客員主管研究員などを務めている。原子核のミクロな構造や挙動を解明する理論研究において、世界的な先駆者として知られている。2023年にはフンボルト賞（Humboldt Research Award）を受賞している。
One of Japan’s leading theoretical physicists, Takaharu Otsuka earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Science at the University of Tokyo. He has held a number of distinguished academic positions, including Professor at the Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo and serves as a Visiting Senior Scientist at the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science. Internationally recognized as a pioneer in theoretical research on the microscopic structure and behavior of atomic nuclei, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of nuclear physics. In 2023, he was awarded the Humboldt Research Award in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements.
中内啓光 Hiromitsu Nakauchi
日本を代表する幹細胞生物学者。
東京大学大学院医学系研究科博士課程修了（医学博士）。東京大学医科学研究所教授、米国スタンフォード大学医学部教授などを歴任。東京大学名誉教授。現在は東京科学大学総合研究院高等研究府・幹細胞治療研究室の特別栄誉教授を務め、再生医療とiPS細胞研究の最前線で研究活動を続けている。
Hiromitsu Nakauchi is one of Japan’s leading stem cell biologists and an internationally recognized authority in regenerative medicine. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Science from the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Tokyo. He has held distinguished academic positions including Professor at the Institute of Medical Science, the University of Tokyo, and Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in the United States. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo and currently serves as a Distinguished Professor at the Institute of Integrated Research, Institute of Science Tokyo, where he continues to pursue cutting-edge research in regenerative medicine and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.
